Hello! My name is Kyla. I am 16 years old, and I lead the Northern Nevada/Reno chapter of Curvy girls! I was diagnosed with scoliosis at the age of 8 with a 38 degree curve. I wore a WCR brace for 20 hours a day, 363 days a year, alongside PT. My curve went down to 17 degrees, but after  growth spurt it went back up to 35 degrees. And that’s where I’m staying as I’m now done growing and just graduated out of my brace.

I have 5 pets- 2 cats and 3 dogs. I love to read as a hobby. Romantasy is my favorite genre, with Powerless being my favorite book. I’m actually working on publishing a fantasy novel of my own! It needs to be edited, then I’ll publish it.  I love leading my group and meeting new people with scoliosis like me!
