Hello, my name is Maggie!  I don’t let scoliosis keep me from being active. I love to do sports and activities including soccer, competitive ice skating (individual and synchronized), and recreational swim team. I am also a member of my school’s Robotics Team and Student Council. When I’m not doing my many activities, I love reading, watching movies, playing board games, and playing with my younger sister.

I was diagnosed with scoliosis when I was nine at my yearly check-up.  After going to many appointments, I received my first brace about two months later. My family and I have found many fun ways to deal with scoliosis and I’m sure we can find one for you too.

I would love to meet girls around my age that have scoliosis. I love to help people and Curvy Girls seems like the perfect organization to do so.
