Leah knew firsthand how challenging it can be for young girls diagnosed with and treated for scoliosis.
 
She opened the door for young women facing the unknowns of scoliosis to come together in a safe and supportive environment to share information, experiences, fears and obstacles.
 
Now Curvy Girls, the peer-run support groups she started as a teen, has become a worldwide organization where young women openly empathize with one another and heal together.
 
She is a leader, a hero, and an inspiration!
