Hi! My name is Ashley. I am 11 years old and I am from Virginia Beach, Virginia. I enjoy doing gymnastics, playing with my two dogs (Evie and Flour), and going outside with my friends. I have a 45 degree curve and I am wearing a Boston brace for thirteen to eighteen hours a day. I am doing Schroth exercises in PT twice a week. I am starting 6th grade in the fall (middle school). I have been wearing my brace for almost two months now (May 2025) and I’m getting used to wearing it.

Being a group leader means a lot to me. I want to help support other girls with their Scoliosis journey, and I want to make friends that are just like me. I also want support for myself to help me through physical and mental challenges with Scoliosis. I want to help connect girls with Scoliosis in my area.
