Hi, my name is Andrea and I live in New York City. I was diagnosed with scoliosis when I was 9, and it was a big change in my life. At first, I felt confused, but as I learned more about my curve and what the diagnosis meant, I started to understand my body better. I have had three braces, one was even made halfway around the world. Living with scoliosis made me realize that I am stronger than I think I am. It is now part of my story that I am proud to share. Even though scoliosis is part of my life, it does not define everything about me. I love gymnastics, dance, swimming, art, reading, and playing the clarinet. These activities help me feel strong, creative, and happy.

I am thrilled to join Curvy Girls as a leader because I want to connect with others who understand what it’s like to live with scoliosis. I hope to make new friends, share my story, and support others. I’m excited to be part of a community where we can lift each other up and celebrate who we are.
