My name is Noelle and I am a sophomore in high school. My journey with scoliosis began at a wellness check visit where I found that I had a moderate-to-high degree curve in the thoracic and lumbar region of my spine. Given the treatment options, I decided that wearing a full-time brace and learning a special physical therapy called "Schroth" was the best option for me.

When I first started bracing and doing physical therapy, it was really difficult for me to get used to doing it every day. I felt super stressed since it was really hard to accept my new reality. However, as time went on, it became second nature to me.

A little bit about me is that I love listening to music, playing the drums, and drawing. I enjoy going out on hikes and seeing nature. My all-time favorite color is bright electric blue!

Through Curvy Girls, I met a lot of amazing people that supported me in my scoliosis journey. Now, I want to pay it forward and give other girls a safe place to have fun, chill, feel supported, and know they aren’t alone. 💪
