Hi! I’m Brooke and I am so excited to be a group leader! I love to sing and write my own songs, play guitar and piano, and spend time outdoors! I am a part of the top choir at my school as well as our acappella group. Last year, we placed 4th at the ICHSA finals in New York City and were also named Western Regional Champions! I love to hike and spend time in nature whenever I can. In my free time, you can find me either at the beach or playing guitar and singing with my friends in a local flower field. I had a spinal fusion in 2021 after being diagnosed with scoliosis only 2 months prior. Shortly after my surgery, I joined my hospital’s mentorship program to help incoming patients and held a fundraiser to donate teddy bears to my local scoliosis center and hospital. I love making a difference in my community and am thrilled to be able to support others on their scoliosis journey!

I wanted to become a group leader to form a tightly-knit group of girls who can all relate to one another and support each other! Whether we’re discussing our scoliosis journeys or not, just being a part of a group of people with something in common can make you feel so much less alone. I didn't have support from a group like Curvy Girls during my surgery process, so I hope to bring a sense of community to as many girls as I can and let them know that they are not alone!
