Immediately after being diagnosed with scoliosis, I was introduced to Curvy Girls and quickly found myself sitting with the Long Island group every month. This amazing group of girls has brought me so much support, joy, an irreplaceable sense of belonging in the past two years. I am so grateful for the opportunity to lead the Long Island chapter, and I can’t wait to become a bigger part of this community that means so much to me.
