2020 Curvy Girls International Scoliosis Convention

Join Curvy Girls from all over the world for a weekend of empowerment, learning and community building, while sharing stories and ideas and making friends. Our biennial Convention is ONLY open to Leaders and ACTIVE members of our local Curvy Girls' groups, who are ready to learn, have fun and share their experience with others when they return home. 

 Curvy Girl and Parent Registration Process

PLEASE REMEMBER: Convention Attendance is restricted to Curvy Girls who are currently members of a CG Group.  Do not share this event on social media or invite anyone who is not an Active Curvy Girls.  Admission will not be granted to the convention for anyone who is not a CURRENT MEMBER of CG, and refunds will not be offered.  

Hotel Reservations:

Our Event Organizer will be making all hotel reservations this year.  Please make sure to purchase the hotel package through this registration process.  You will be contacted within 2 weeks with your hotel reservation number. If you wish to share a room with another family attending the convention, only one family needs to purchase the hotel package through our registration site, but please let us know that you are sharing a room.  If you are planning to arrive early or stay beyond the convention dates at the hotel, note that on your registration, so we can book your room for the correct number of nights.  When you register, you are prepaying for the nights of the convention and you will be responsible for paying for your additional nights upon arrival at the hotel.

Convention Fees:

Purchase 1 Convention + Meal Plan ticket for EACH person attending Convention.  

Note: 2 parents may not share one registration. If both parents wish to attend, you will have to purchase 3 tickets. 

If you have family staying with you, but not attending the convention who wish to join us for meals, you can purchase a meal plan for them that does not include Convention Fees. 

Meal Plans:

Family staying with you at hotel but not attending Convention?

We have a couple of options that you may PRE-PURCHASE for them.  You will not be able to purchase these options at the convention.  They must be pre-purchased.

1.  Complete Meal Plans that include all meals served during the Convention and the Fashion Show Dinner.

2.  Just the Fashion Show Dinner on Saturday evening.

If you do not PRE-PURCHASE an extra meal plan for family sharing your room, there are restaurants on site and near the hotel they may choose to dine in.  Pre-payment is not required for this option.  This may be the less expensive option, but your guests will not be able to join us for any meals during the convention.  We do not offer a partial meal plan.

Cancellation Policy:

 A lot of work goes into planning and organizing Convention. Therefore, we urge you not to cancel, as it causes an enormous amount of work for our volunteer staff. Our cancellation policy is:  

1.  Registration Fees are non-refundable once paid.  Hotel Fees are refundable until 30 days prior to arrival.  You must cancel by emailing Convention@curvygirlsscoliosis.com.

2.  If group fundraising money is used for your Registration and/or Hotel Fees and you cancel, each person will be charged a $100 cancellation fee.  Any money raised that will not be used due to cancellation will not be refunded to you or your group for use.

Discounts:

Discounts are not offered because there is no profit on this program. We pass along all costs directly to each participant. If you require financial assistance, we encourage you to fundraise by creating a fundraising Team Group page at: https://www.crowdrise.com/curvygirls2020. You can share your fundraising page with friends, family, colleagues and in your community to help fund your attendance.

Remember that funds raised through CG, are Group funds, not individual funds.
