Hi, my name is Natalie! I was diagnosed with scoliosis at age 10 with 9, 10, and 12 degree curves. Then, at age 12, on September 10, 2009, I was put into a TLSO brace at 9, 10, and 25 degree curves. I wore two different TLSO braces for about two years total.
Some of my interests are acting, singing, dancing, modeling, and
most importantly helping others. This is why I am joining Curvy
Girls. I think it would be a great opportunity to do what
I love and to meet people who have something in common with me.
I first heard about Curvy Girls on the TeenNick HALO Awards, and
I was inspired by Leah’s story. Eventually, I went onto
this website to see whether there was a Curvy Girls group in
California near me. California did have a couple of groups;
however, neither was anywhere near LA, which is where I live.
So, I decided to make my own branch of Curvy Girls near me.
I think joining Curvy Girls is the best decision I’ve ever made!
I am so proud to be a Curvy Girl!
